Back at the end of July we went to the Lake County Fair as we do every year. We go earlier in the day to see the animals and some of the smaller shows, leave for the afternoon and then return for the evening event. We took mom with us this year. We got to see all the animals and some animal showings, the pig/duck racing show, the monkeys riding dogs race, the showcase of art art and vegetables and much more! There are lots of RVs and campers on display and we toured most of them-quite amazing to see how large and luxurious they can get! There are antique tractors and this year they let people drive the tractors. Brian, Natalie and Noah all took turns driving the tractor. Brian got to do more of the driving then the kids did but they did get to help! (these pictures are all from my phone so they aren't as good as my normal photos and they seem to be a funny size!)
They had a bucket train this year which they haven't had in the past and of course N2 had to ride it.
We let N2 ride some rides as they love carnival rides. We left and then returned for the demolition derby. I had no idea what to expect and it was a lot of fun. The most fun as the school buses! We stayed until the end which was when they let any car/truck/jeep/etc that could still move come back out on the track and it was kind of a free for all. N2 definitely enjoyed themselves!
