Brian was home last Tuesday as a day between band camp days and we wanted to do something fun. The Vernon Hills Family Aquatic Center has tot hours from 9:00-10:30 (which I found out about on Little Lake County) and it is free for kids 3 and under. We did have to pay for adults though. We invited Lisa and Charlie to come with us because N2 wanted to go swimming with Charlie. There was hardly anyone there when we got there and they have a nice big pool open for the tot swim. It does get up to 4 ft deep so deeper than my kids can stand. But it is a zero depth pool and there is a wide blue line on the floor of the pool indicated where it starts to get more deep. We had taken N2's bubbles which was nice because then they could practice swimming in the deeper water and practice jumping in. They also have a couple of their sprinklers going. We had a fun time!
